~ Solehah's right foot after the POP being removed on 20/06/08 ~The 4th. operation was done on Friday, 18/04/08 at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah (HTF), Kangar. It was to improve the 1st. operation which was done earlier at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). It was attended by Mr. Zulkiflee Osman (Pakar Perunding Ortopedik) and Miss Norashikin (Pakar Bedah Ortopedik). Both came all the way from Institut Ortopedik & Traumatologi, HKL. They were assisted by other doctors form HTF.
The operation was to shorten the medial column & lengthen the lateral column of the right foot. The operation ran (> 3 hours) smoothly & Solehah's right leg was POP (cement) up to the knee.
We took Solehah once to HKL (as instructed) on 14/05/08 to see Mr. Zulkiflee Osman. We travelled a day earlier as Solehah's second brother (Zakwan) had to report at the Royal Military College for the preparation to enter INTEC (International Education Centre), UiTM Shah Alam.
The POP was only removed on 20/06/08 at HTF. Alhamdulillah, the 4th. operation has improved the structure of Solehah's right foot. As a result, she could walk better - without aids of course.
